Boarding locations and jetties.

If you want to rent a boat in Amsterdam there are multiple boarding locations and jetties accessible. Actually it’s possible to board almost everywhere but due to the many houseboats and high embankments the skippers advice is recommended. So do consult us up front about the options.

In Amsterdam there are many jetties used by the cruising companies as boarding locations for there guests. Some of them are very popular and often occupied and can better be avoided. So do call us for actual information.

So if you want to board the boat, there are a few considerations.

For Example:

  • Are your guests coming by car? Than see to it enough parking space is available in the neighbourhood. We’ve often experienced late departures due to the lack of enough parking space. That’s a pity and might cost you cruising time on the boat;
  • It is also possible to embark near Central Station. No parking problems. People can come by train or subway, and if traveling in group you will be in time to enter the boat. Besides this, you’re not limited to have one or to glasses of beer.
